Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced exciting new AI developments at the annual Microsoft Build Developer Conference. One of the highlights was the introduction of Team Copilot, an upgrade to the existing Copilot chatbot, which now enables intelligent assistance and collaboration within a team setting using Microsoft 365 tools.
In addition to Team Copilot, Microsoft also introduced the ability to create custom copilot agents through Copilot Studio. These agents can automate business processes, reason over actions, and learn based on user feedback, providing virtual employees to handle repetitive tasks.
Microsoft unveiled Phi-3 Vision, a multimodal model with audio and vision capabilities aimed at on-device solutions with speed, cost, compute, and internet connectivity constraints. This model promises superior reasoning abilities and opens up applications in healthcare, education, and agriculture, especially in areas with limited internet access.
Windows 11 now features Advanced Paste, a smarter way to copy and paste with options to paste as plain text, markdown, or JSON. Users can also type a description of how they want the copied text to be processed before pasting, utilizing the OpenAI API key and credits. This feature streamlines the process of formatting text before pasting into documents.
