The Nordex Group reports strong performance in first quarter of 2024

The Nordex Group reported positive sales growth and EBITDA margin in the first quarter of 2024, with a strong order intake of 2.1 GW, representing a 29% increase in sales year over year. The company installed a total of 227 wind turbines with an output of 1103 MW in 13 countries during this period. Europe accounted for 71% of the installed capacity, followed by Latin America and the rest of the world. Sales in the Projects segment rose by 32.3% to €1413 million, while the Service segment also saw an increase in sales by 9.3% to €166 million. The order intake excluding the Service segment grew significantly to €1765 million, with a total nominal output of 2086 MW. The order book for both segments combined reached €11.1 billion, showing a positive trend in the company’s performance.
