The Maryland Solar Access program will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for applicants who meet the eligibility requirements. The program will succeed the Residential Clean Energy Rebate Program, which will be offered for a final time from July 1 to November 30. The Brighter Tomorrow Act also includes measures to promote standardized residential solar permitting through the Solar Automated Permit Processing Plus (SolarAPP+).
