Full Circle Wind Services has secured a long-term maintenance contract with Zephyrus Green Energy to provide operation and maintenance (O&M) services for four Enercon E-70 turbines at the Strathallan Wind Farm Project in Perthshire, Scotland. The services will begin in May 2024 after the completion of site commissioning.
Scotland continues to lead in renewable electricity generation, with more than three-quarters of its electricity coming from wind technologies in 2023. The country generated more electricity than it used, with net exports worth £1.5 billion to other UK nations. This highlights the importance of innovative ways to deliver and maintain onshore wind generation.
The CEO of Full Circle Wind Services, Billy Stevenson, expressed delight in being chosen for this project, highlighting the company’s expertise and professionalism in multi-brand O&M services. The CEO of Green Cat Group, Gavin Catto, also emphasized the innovative approach of co-located technologies at the Strathallan site, including plans for a solar farm and hydrogen generation.
