EverWind Fuels, a leading North American developer, has completed FEED engineering with Black & Veatch for its Phase 1 green hydrogen-to-green ammonia project in Point Tupper, Nova Scotia. The project will use cutting-edge technology to produce green hydrogen and green ammonia, meeting global requirements for green fuels. This project is part of EverWind’s initiative to develop a green fuels hub in Atlantic Canada, bringing economic and environmental benefits to the region. The completion of FEED marks a significant milestone in the project’s development.

The Point Tupper project includes newly-built wind farms operated by EverWind and its First Nations partners. Community engagement and local job creation are key aspects of the project, with ongoing efforts to support local communities and provide opportunities for apprentices and First Nations. The construction is scheduled to begin later this year, with first production expected in 2026.
