MET Group has appointed Clive Turton as the new Executive Chairman of its Green Assets Division, effective from June 1, 2024. Turton brings over 20 years of experience in the power and renewables industry and will support the company’s renewables expansion strategy. Balázs Gábor Lehocz, the current Executive Chairman, will take a five-month sabbatical leave and return as an Advisor to MET Group’s Chairman and CEO later in the year. Turton has held leadership roles in energy companies globally and has a strong track record of growing businesses in renewable and conventional energy sectors.
Prior to joining MET Group, Turton was the Chief Investment Officer at ACWA Power and held leadership positions at Vestas, where he led the restructuring and growth of the business in the Asia-Pacific region.
