UAB Renerga, a prominent wind energy developer in Lithuania and part of the Achema Group, has entered into a contract with the Nordex Group to supply 40 N163/6.X turbines for the 264 MW Pagegiai wind farm project in Lithuania. The contract also includes a Premium Service agreement. The infrastructure works are set to begin in June 2024, with turbine delivery and installation scheduled to start in spring 2025. The wind farm completion is expected in 2026. Renerga views this project as a significant step toward achieving Lithuania’s renewable energy goals.
Lidija Lubiene, Chairman of the Board of the Achema Group, expressed pride in continuing their commitment to renewables through the Pagegiai project. Renerga CEO Mindaugas Juodis highlighted the company’s dedication to expanding its renewables portfolio. Nordex Group’s CSO, Patxi Landa, emphasized the importance of this collaboration with Renerga. With this new order, the Nordex Group has sold over 850 MW in Lithuania since 2015, with 460 MW currently under construction.
