– RES leveraging experience and innovative technologies to enhance project performance and reliability

RES has been selected by Repsol to provide operations and maintenance services at the Frye Solar facility in Texas. The partnership aims to maximize performance and ensure safety and reliability at the 637-MWDC solar project, Repsol’s largest utility-scale site to date. Leveraging their experience in solar projects, RES will work to enhance the facility’s performance.

By using a comprehensive reliability management approach, RES goes beyond traditional strategies to include diagnostic testing and risk assessment. This helps asset owners optimize maintenance resources, reduce downtime, and maximize revenue generation. The company’s expertise in spares management and use of digital technologies further strengthens its ability to identify and address issues promptly.

This project aligns with RES’s recent investments in its services business globally. In March, the company acquired Ingeteam’s renewable service division, expanding its operations to 24 markets and solidifying its position as the world’s largest independent renewable energy services provider. RES holds more than 41 GW of O&M and asset management contracts worldwide, with construction completed on an operations control center in Denver to serve clients across the Americas market.
