SolarEdge Technologies has launched the Re-Energize upgrade program in the United States, allowing homeowners to receive new SolarEdge equipment and a new warranty when upgrading their existing solar system. The program offers promotional pricing on the Home Hub inverter with a 12-year warranty, a five-year data cell card, and the ability to integrate smart devices. Installers benefit from the DC-coupled architecture, making installation easier and reducing the need for main panel upgrades and labor-intensive modifications.
The five-year data cell plan enables wireless communication between the inverter and monitoring platform through users’ cellular plans. Participants can also oversize their system by up to 200%, add home battery backup, and incorporate smart home energy devices such as EV chargers and load controllers. All non-Home Hub inverters installed before June 30, 2022, are eligible for an upgrade through the program. Additional information about the Re-Energize program can be found on SolarEdge’s website.
