SUSI Partners’ Investment to Support Expansion of Utility-Scale Renewable Projects in the Philippines

– SUSI Partners has entered into an investment agreement with Alba Renewables to support solar and wind projects in the Philippines
– SUSI’s investment will focus on funding the construction of designated projects over the next 24 months
– The partnership is well positioned to quickly reach significant scale in the context of the energy transition in Asia.

SUSI Partners has partnered with Alba Renewables to invest in the development, construction, and operation of utility-scale solar PV and wind projects in the Philippines. This investment will support the buildout of a regional renewables platform focusing on the Philippines and help Alba expand its operations across Southeast Asia. The partnership leverages Alba’s renewable energy development experience, SUSI’s investment expertise, and strong regional networks to quickly scale up their projects in line with the energy transition in Asia.

SUSI’s investment will fund the construction of designated projects over the next 24 months, allowing Alba to enhance its development activities and operational capacity. This collaboration accelerates capital deployment for SUSI’s Asia Energy Transition Fund (SAETF) and has led to the re-opening of the Fund until September 2024 due to a strong project pipeline. The latest issue of Energy Global magazine covers this investment partnership, along with technical articles on battery storage, renewables in Europe, electrical infrastructure, turbine monitoring, battery storage technology, coatings, and more.
