Clearloop completes solar project for Intuit and REI Co-op

1. Clearloop, a Silicon Ranch company, partnered with Intuit and REI Co-op to launch a new 2.8-MWDC White Pine Solar Farm in Tennessee.
2. Intuit and REI each supported 1.4 MWDC of the solar project, with additional support from the Tennessee Valley Authority’s Dispersed Power Program and local power companies.
3. Intuit is donating renewable energy certificates to local schools and providing scholarships, while REI will power its distribution center in Lebanon with 100% renewable energy from the solar farm.

Today, Intuit and REI Co-op, in partnership with Clearloop, announced the completion of the 2.8-MWDC White Pine Solar Farm in Tennessee. Intuit and REI supported the development of 1.4 MWDC each, with help from the Tennessee Valley Authority and local power companies. Intuit has been working with Clearloop since 2021 to expand access to renewable energy and decarbonize the grid in Tennessee, supporting initiatives like the Prosperity Hub Program.

As part of their commitment to the community, Intuit is donating renewable energy certificates to local schools and providing scholarships for high school seniors in Jefferson and Hamblen County. REI is also partnering with Clearloop to power their new distribution center in Lebanon with 100% renewable energy, reducing energy usage by 30%. Both companies are dedicated to investing in clean energy projects that benefit local communities and promote sustainability.
