The Gresham House Energy Storage Fund, listed as GRID, has expanded its operational capacity to 790MW/926MWh with the launch of a new Battery Energy Storage System. This marks the fund’s 25th operational asset since its IPO. Ben Guest, the fund manager of GRID, expressed satisfaction with reaching this milestone and mentioned the completion of several projects in the past nine months, including Penwortham, Grendon, West Didsbury, and York.
Guest also highlighted the fund’s pipeline projects, noting that they are expected to be completed and contribute to earnings by 2024. The fund is projected to reach 1,072MW/1,696MWh by the end of the year, including duration extensions on existing projects. GRID announced that its revenues have begun to recover in 2024 following declines in the previous year.
