Havfram has secured a contract with Iberdrola to install 21 Siemens Gamesa wind turbines at the Windanker project in the Baltic Sea. The agreement includes transport and installation support using one of Havfram’s newbuild NG20000X-HF wind turbine installation vessels. The project is set to start in the summer of 2026, aligning well with the vessel’s high utilization plans. Windanker, when completed in 2026, will have a capacity of 315 MW, with most of the electricity generated being sold through long-term power purchase agreements on the German market.
