Ørsted has chosen ABL to provide marine warranty survey services for the offshore transportation and installation of wind turbine generations and cables for their Greater Changhua 2b and 4 offshore wind farms in Taiwan. The project involves installing 66 bottom-fixed wind turbines in water depths between 23.8 – 44.1 m off the coast of Changhua County, Taiwan, with expected completion by the end of 2025. ABL will review, survey, and approve all operations related to the transportation and installation of the turbine components and subsea cabling. This appointment follows ABL’s previous work on the Greater Changhua 1 and 2a projects, completed in 2022.

ABL’s experience in marine warranty survey, their track record on the Greater Changhua projects, and their global offshore wind project support helped secure this latest contract from Ørsted. Kenny Ong, ABL’s Country Manager in Taiwan, expressed excitement about collaborating with Ørsted on more offshore projects in Taiwan.
