Prevalon Energy LLC, a joint venture between Mitsubishi Power Americas and EES, has partnered with REPT BATTERO Energy Co., Ltd. to deploy Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in the Americas region. This agreement also designates Prevalon as the service provider for the REPT battery module fleet in the Americas. Prevalon has already deployed 1.5 gigawatt-hours of battery storage systems across North and South America using REPT battery cells, and they are now aiming to deploy 10 GWh in the short term. The companies will collaborate to customize the system to meet market requirements and ensure seamless integration of components.

Prevalon’s new High-Density (HD) 511 Integrated Energy Storage Platform, featuring REPT’s long-format modules with wending LFP battery technology, will achieve an impressive system energy density of 360MWh per acre. The system is factory-integrated and tested before delivery as complete assemblies, including factory-installed battery modules. Passive and active fire detection and suppression systems are deployed for site safety. The partnership with REPT is seen as an important step for Prevalon in delivering reliable energy storage solutions in the Americas region. Tom Cornell, President and CEO of Prevalon, emphasized the significance of partnering in the battery cell supply for their implementation strategy.
