Turner & Townsend and JUMBO Consulting Group have formed a strategic partnership to enhance their presence in the clean energy sector, with Turner & Townsend acquiring a majority 70% stake in JUMBO. The partnership aims to strengthen their capabilities in offshore wind procurement and contract management to support the energy transition. The Global Wind Energy Council predicts significant growth in offshore wind capacity globally from 2024-2028.

The new combined team, now known as Turner & Townsend JUMBO, will offer end-to-end services for offshore wind projects, energy islands, grid expansion, and interconnectors. They plan to provide comprehensive commercial and program management support throughout the project lifecycle with a focus on green, inclusive, and productive solutions. The partnership will leverage JUMBO’s expertise in procurement with Turner & Townsend’s knowledge in complex project delivery to navigate the challenges of offshore wind development.

Vincent Clancy, Chairman and CEO of Turner & Townsend, highlighted the importance of the energy transition and the role of Turner & Townsend JUMBO in delivering sustainable and secure energy.
