The new cloud deprecation and breaking changes recommender helps users identify Cloud resources that will be affected by upcoming deprecations and breaking changes. Recommendations can be viewed through Recommendation Hub UI, API, and BigQuery export. These recommendations are free and available to all users to ensure a smooth transition and prevent disruptions to their environment.

IAM for BigQuery recommendations have been added to the popular IAM Recommender, allowing users to receive recommendations on BigQuery datasets. By enforcing the principle of least privilege, users can remove or replace roles that are not being fully utilized by principals. Recommendations can be viewed through UI, API, or BigQuery export, with a requirement for Security Command Center Premium after April 29th.

Advisory Notifications recommendations provide IAM policy recommendations to ensure the right parties within an organization have access to critical security and privacy notifications. This helps parties quickly address security notifications in the Google Cloud console.

Recent change recommendations aim to help users detect and mitigate issues caused by misconfigurations to important cloud resources. The feature flags recent risky changes based on usage and other signals to prevent unintended issues. These recommendations are designed to help users both prevent and mitigate risky changes to their infrastructure, ultimately improving overall cloud security.
