SolarEdge Technologies has acquired the software startup Wevo Energy, which specializes in EV charging optimization and management for sites with large quantities of EV chargers. Wevo’s software supports open protocols for multi-user pricing, tiered charging schedules, load management, and other services across North America, Europe, and the Middle East. Wevo is already integrated with SolarEdge’s EV chargers, inverters, and meters, providing a comprehensive view of solar production, grid consumption, and EV charging in real-time.
The Wevo solution will be incorporated into SolarEdge’s ONE energy optimization system for the commercial and industrial segment, offering customers a single platform to manage solar generation, battery storage, and large-scale EV charging.
