Tigo Energy Installs 90-kilowatt Solar System at Headquarters in California

1. Tigo Energy now hosts a 90-kW solar system on its headquarters in California designed and deployed by Laibach Solar.
2. The system is equipped with 180 Tigo TS4-A-O MLPE devices, the Tigo Access Point (TAP), and the Tigo Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA) data logging device.
3. The system overcame significant shading challenges using Tigo technology and will benefit from module-level monitoring and advanced rapid shutdown safety measures.

Tigo Energy has installed a 90-kW solar system on their headquarters in California, designed and deployed by Laibach Solar. The system includes 180 Tigo TS4-A-O MLPE devices, the Tigo Access Point, and the Tigo Cloud Connect Advanced data logging device. Despite shading challenges from existing roof features, the system’s performance will be minimally impacted thanks to Tigo’s technology, including Reclaimed Energy technology. Module-level monitoring and rapid shutdown safety measures are also in place for protection.

Dejan Obradovic from Laibach Solar praised Tigo’s products for their quality and design flexibility, noting that the system overcame shading constraints with Tigo’s technology. The Energy Intelligence monitoring platform allows for full control and visibility over the installation, monitoring reclaimed energy, shading occurrences, and providing optimization insights for peak efficiency. On average, the rooftop system is projected to reclaim approximately 14 kWh daily.

Jing Tian, chief growth officer at Tigo Energy, thanked Laibach Solar for their high-quality installation and system design that overcame shading and permitting constraints. With optimized solar output, the system is able to reclaim energy, reducing reliance on the grid. This commitment to Total Quality Solar has produced a successful result for Tigo Energy.
